How far back does Taxomate import? Getting older payouts and settlements

How far back Taxomate imports payouts and settlements for each sales channel, and how to get older history.

When you connect a sales channel, Taxomate imports your recent history. After that, it keeps checking for new payouts. Older history is not always part of the first import. You can ask us for it. You do not pay extra to import older history, and you do not need to disconnect and reconnect.

Amazon accounts see Settlements. Other sales channels see Payouts. This article says "payout" for both.

Amazon

About the last 30 days

Amazon archives settlements that are older than three months. You request them in Seller Central, or you upload the files. See "Amazon settlement missing? Request it, wait for it, or upload the file".

After the first import, Taxomate checks your channel again and again for new payouts. Each check looks at the most recent days only. If your connection stopped working for a long time, payouts from that time may not arrive on their own. Reconnect first (see "Reconnect QuickBooks, Xero, Wave or your store"). Then ask us to import the missing dates.

A payout appears only after your channel has paid it out. A payout that is still pending in Shopify, eBay, Etsy or Walmart does not show yet.

Does my plan limit how far back I can import?

No. Trial accounts and paid accounts get the same history. Taxomate does not hide older payouts behind a plan.

Will older history raise my order count or change my plan?

Old payouts normally do not use your monthly order count. Only payouts with a deposit date in the last 15 days add to it. If your plan changed after an import, see "Manage your plan, card and automatic plan upgrades".

The message "We found 1 additional historical payout. Upgrade to import all available history."

You may have seen this message on the Payouts page in early August 2026. It said that Taxomate held back some of your older payouts until you upgraded. The message was for accounts on a trial.

We removed it. Trial accounts and paid accounts now import the same history, and you do not need to upgrade to import history. You cannot see this message in Taxomate now.

Payouts that were held back are imported in the normal way. These payouts do not send to your accounting software by themselves. Review each one and send it yourself. If any payout is still missing, contact support.

Imported does not mean sent

Taxomate keeps two steps apart:

  1. Import: Taxomate reads the payout from your channel. It appears in your list.

  2. Send: Taxomate sends the payout to QuickBooks, Xero or Wave.

Older payouts that you import do not go to your books on their own. Automatic sending sends only the payouts that it is allowed to send:

  • New only sends payouts that arrive from now on.

  • New and earlier also sends earlier eligible payouts. Use it with care when you import a lot of old history. Taxomate asks you to confirm.

  • First period to send (in Settings > Invoice) holds back every period that starts before the date you pick. Sending by hand is never limited.

To send old periods yourself, open the Payouts page. Select the payouts, then select Review and send. Check that your books are open for those dates first. See "Automatic sending in Taxomate".

How to ask for older history

Contact support from the chat in Taxomate. Send us:

  1. Your sales channel, and the store name or marketplace.

  2. The date you want to start from.

  3. The date you want to end at, if it is not today.

Do not disconnect and reconnect your channel to get more history. That does not import older payouts. For Shopify, eBay, Etsy and Walmart, we start the import for you. It runs in the background. The payouts appear in your list one by one. A large import can take a few hours.

While the import runs

  • On the Payouts page, Imports up to date changes to a count of imports in progress. Select Import details to see how many are waiting, processing or failed.

  • An empty list says Importing your {channel} payouts. Large accounts can take a few hours. You can leave the page.

  • During Quick Setup you can also see Still importing your {store} payouts. If the import stops, the page says The import stopped. Select Try the import again. You can retry twice a day. The retry reads the recent days, not older history.
