A. Settlement Export to QuickBooks or Xero
Imported Amazon Settlements will show up under Settlements on the left menu.
Individual Settlements Export
To send an individual settlement, first select one from the Settlements page.
An orange stripe at the bottom signals the settlement has not yet been sent to your accounting software, while blue stripe shows the settlement has been sent.
After reviewing the settlement and confirming you everything is correct include the grouping (SKU, transaction type, all orders) select send on the top right:
If you scroll to the bottom you can also delete, download, or refresh the settlement.
Bulk Settlement Export
To send multiple settlements at once go to the Settlements page. Select the respective settlements and click the Send Button on the top right:
B. Where will the settlements be posted?
QuickBooks Online: In QuickBooks the settlement will be posted as a sales invoice, which can easily be matched with your bank deposit. You must connect your bank account separately to either QuickBooks to properly reconcile.
Xero Accounting: In Xero the settlement will be posted as journal entry, which can similarly be matched to your bank deposit. You must connect your bank account separately to either Xero to properly reconcile.
C. Setting Up Auto Sync
After sending your first settlement and checking QuickBooks or Xero to verify it has imported properly, you are ready to setup Auto Sync.
Auto Sync allows you to automatically send your settlements to QuickBooks or Xero after the settlement is imported into taxomate from Amazon. taxomate imports settlements soon after they are posted to Amazon Seller Central.
To setup Auto Sync go to Settings > Account > Invoice and select the checkbox for Auto Sync
