# How to use Xero tracking for Amazon marketplaces

How to use Xero tracking categories to report on each Amazon marketplace.

Taxomate works with Xero's tracking categories. This helps if you want to track your transactions separately for each Amazon country marketplace and run Profit and Loss reports by marketplace.

## Step 1. Set up tracking categories

Click [here](https://central.xero.com/s/article/Set-up-tracking-categories) for directions on how to set up tracking categories in Xero.

## Step 2. Map each marketplace to a tracking category

In Taxomate, go to **Settings > Connections** and select **Manage marketplace mappings**. For each marketplace:

1.  Pick the marketplace next to **Mappings for**.
    
2.  On the **Xero tracking category** row, select **Set category** (or **Change**).
    
3.  Choose the tracking category or option you want.
