# How do I delete a sales invoice after sending to Wave?

How to remove a sales invoice from Wave using Taxomate after you sent a settlement.

After you send a settlement to Wave, you can remove its sales invoice from inside Taxomate.

If **Automatic sending** is on, turn it off first (select **Change** next to "Automatic sending" at the top of the list).

## Option 1. The invoice is not reconciled with a deposit in Wave

**One settlement or payout:** open it, select **More actions**, then **Delete entries from Wave**, and confirm.

**Several:** on **Settlements** (or **Payouts**), select the rows. In the bar at the bottom, select **More actions**. Under **Remove entries**, select **Delete accounting entries** (the same item for payouts), and confirm.

## Option 2. The invoice is reconciled with a deposit in Wave

1.  In Wave, go to **Sales & Payments > Invoices**.
    
2.  Select **All invoices**.

3.  Select **View** on each invoice you want to unmatch.

4.  Select **Remove payment**, then confirm.

5.  Go back to Taxomate and open the settlement or payout.
    
6.  Select **More actions**, then **Delete entries from Wave**, and confirm. (Or use the bulk steps in Option 1.)
