👉 Due to Amazon API throttling, historical settlements can sometimes take up to 24-48 hours before they are automatically imported into taxomate. If you would like to upload historical settlements instead scroll down to Step 3.

STEP 1: Request Report from Amazon Seller Central

First, check Amazon Seller Central under Reports > Payments > All Statements to confirm if settlement files are available for direct download.

If the settlements are showing a Request button in Amazon, please click request on each settlement that you want to be imported into taxomate.

Due to Amazon's API limitations, importing may take some time. If you are on Settlement Version V2 (see below) and no settlements have been imported after a few hours into taxomate please contact support.

👉 Make sure you request settlements for both Standard Orders and Invoiced Orders. You can see both types by selecting the Account Type on the top toolbar.

STEP 2. Settlement File Version Issue

taxomate can only automatically import Settlement Version 2. To check if Settlement V2 is available head back over to Payments > Payments > All Statements.

For each settlement period in the action column, you should see Download Flat File V2.

If some of the older settlements are only in Flat File (V1) format, you can upload them manually (see Step 3 below).

If Download Flat File V2 is missing please request Amazon Seller support convert your settlements to the newer Settlement Version 2 (Flat V2) format. You can send a message to Amazon Seller Support that states: "Please enable the new flat file V2 format settlement reports for my Amazon Seller account".

You may need to raise the case several times or escalate to ensure you reach a qualified support rep from Amazon.

👉 Due to Amazon's API limitations, importing may take some time (up to 24 hours after it becomes available in the V2 format).

STEP 3. Manual Uploads (Flat File and V2 Format Supported)

If you are under time pressure, you can always upload historical settlements through our interface.

Our manual upload interface also now supports uploading Flat File (aka V1) settlements. However, if possible, it is always better to use V2 settlements since they are more accurate.

Start by downloading the Flat File V2 settlements in Amazon Seller Central.

Once you have downloaded the settlement from Amazon Seller Central, head back over to taxomate and the Settlements page. Select the Upload Settlements button at the bottom of the page and upload each of your settlements.
