What is Inconsistent Shopify Payout?

Sometimes, you will see a warning icon on a Shopify payout. This means that Taxomate determined that the transaction data provided by Shopify does not balance the total payout amount provided for that period.

If you click in the payout you will see the difference in amounts calculated by Taxomate and the expected deposit amount.

The issue is usually due to an order change processed after the payout was made from Shopify. In this case, a manual adjustment in your accounting software may be required to match the order change processed after the payout.

If no order changed occurred, feel free to reach out to us in the bottom right hand corner to take a look.
